STRATEGIC PLAN 2020-2025

Our Strategic Plan has defined five goals to guide Board and staff decisions and actions. The principal work of VIEWS has been carried out through a professional team, and an improved financial and administrative system to leverage its programme effectiveness over the next five years.

Our team will continue to support youth and women-led community-based organizations with special focus on Tribals, Dalits, Small Scale Fisheries, Urban poor and Persons with Disabilities.  VIEWS will work towards having clear Programme Outreach and Annual fund-raising targets.The Board of Governance of VIEWS has developed Strategic Plan 2020-2025 and adopted the following five goals to guide the work of the Board and staff over the five years.

01.  GOAL:- Widen outreach in terms of geographical coverage and thematic intervention and target 10000 marginal women farmers in livelihoods, 2500 children in education and 1000 youth through innovative sustainable initiatives aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). 

02.  GOAL:-  Build collaborations with international agencies, corporates foundations, academic institutions and like-minded organisations that provide opportunities to leverage VIEWS’s experience and learnings.

03. GOAL:-  Mobilise resources from national and international agencies to reach marginal communities and sustain organisational initiatives

04. GOAL:- Establish Research and Product development Centre for development initiatives for vulnerable groups

05. GOAL:-  Scaling upwork in sustainable livelihoods and inclusive education at state and national level

BOARD

Our Governing Board sets the strategic direction and ensures that our work remains responsive to community needs.

Mr. Rama Rao has over 20 year’s development sector experience in INGOs viz. Lutheran World Service India, Handicap International, Save the Children Fund and Child fund India. His education qualification includes Masters of Rural Development. He currently works with the disaster risk reduction and management unit of CCF at New Delhi.

He has Worked with reputed International Humanitarian Development Organizations viz: PLAN INTERNATIONAL – (India Chapter), ICCO INTERNATIONAL, WORLD VISION INDIA, CARITAS INDIA, EMMANUEL HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION, CHRISTIAN MISSION SERVICE and NAVJEEVAN SEVA MANDAL. Working experience with EU , ECHO, Global Fund, Irish Aid, USAID, DFID, Dutch & German Govt Aid, UNDP , UNICEF and Corporates grants funded project in India and South Asia countries. Worked with top five audit firms in the world like a KPMG , PwC, GT, EY & Deloitte.

Mr. Rao has over 20 years of experience in academic and international development agencies including World Vision India, Lutheran World Service India, International Justice Mission, Caritas India Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust Department for International Development (DFID) Programme, GFTAM, JICA and Human Development Foundation School of Management.

Secretary

Ms. Preeti is an Assistant Professor-Communication. She is M.A in English literature from Ravenshaw University. She has more than 7 years’ of work experience as an Assistant Professor in Business Communication with Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nova Institute of Engineering and Technology, Konark Institute of Management and Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Ms. Preeti Abraham
Joint Secretary

Mr. Krishna is a committed social worker having 18 years’ experience in development sector. He worked with various organizations including Nehru Yuva Kendra (Ministry of Youth affairs and sports), Lutheran World Service India, HSBC, Society for Welfare Animation and Development (SWAD), De Paul Public School. He currently works with Franciscans Missionary of Mary Social Service Society for empowerment of children and women in coastal fishing villages.

She is a president of SHGs Federation (Divya Jyoti Mahila Vikash) with 20 years field experience in SHGs mobilization. Gopamma has earned national  recognition with Fellowship from Ratan Tata Virtual Academy and Change Agent of Odisha award” from Yes we Can, Bhubaneswar for contributing toward women empowerment and promoting menstrual hygiene solutions.
